Laura, from Lithuania / Juliet, from the UK / Sergej, from Latvia / Ruth, from Australia / Babi, from Brazil, BH / Mila, from Brazil, POA / Nana, from Brazil, VT / Te, from Brazil, CT.Eight people, that together have been working to deliver the Congress that will impact more than 800 people. But of course that we cannot do everything alone. And for that, we have with us a group of 47 people.
The Congress Committee
In total we are 55 people, from 27 different countries. I'm trying to find words that can explain the experience that I'm having now. Have you ever seen someone from Malasya? Ok, we have 2 girls from there! Have you ever met a girl with 21 years old, that has travel around the world and that has lived in Cambodia? No? Ok I know this girl!
I've been working for this Congress since February, and for the last Month I moved to a city called Itapecerica da Serra, 50min (without traffic) from SP. It was an AMAZING experience. We were all together working from 9 am until 8 pm... Not counting the days that we didn't sleep doing our job, or helping someone else.
And now, the delegates are arriving. Yesterday we had 400 people from more than 100 countries. Italy, India, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, US, UK, Spain, Tcheck Republic, Germany, and others many many many countries. Everybody together for one porpose.
But now, the work is almost done. Now we are putting life on everything that we have been working on for the past months. In 2 days, on Thursday, the journey will begin. 800 people, from different generations will be together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of AIESEC.
